Steve: Listen, everybody! David has been dismissed for smoking in the studio. We’re here now to discuss. . . er. . . what action we could take as the Union Committee of the Independent Television Technicians and then put our ideas forward to the Union. Um. . . have you got any comments on this situation? Alice: Yeah, I think the thing to do is. . . er. . . to look at what possibilities we have, you know. . . John: Well, I think we’d all agree that David shouldn’t have been dismissed just for smoking in the studio.
